If keeping a personal wiki as a notebook means literally writing the logbook, there can be no other than a symbiosis of practice and medium. Whereas a disciplined act of scripting records speech acts for later reuse, the utility used for inscription needs to be literally at hands and readily empty.
Onto the finite spaces asking for corruption, we engrave our marks and symbols in repeating manner. Cycles of association open and close with each letter, their word compounds and the diacritic inbetweens. Their rhythmic assemblages unfold textures of sound, vision and kinaesthetic inscription.
Artifacts of attention appear and tell the tale of consciousness. Where the free choice is demanded, its ad-hoc articulation becomes neccessary for giving word and space. Crossings of myriads of potential meaning later, an evolutionary selection inhibits and propagates courses of action. And a transliteral doubt still questions if we learn from each other at all.
